Erskine repeats at Conference Carolinas Women's Golf champions

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Erskine College won their second Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship taking the 2026 crown on Tuesday. Lina Lindqvist of Erskine was the individual medalist.
The championship is being contested at the par 72, 5724 yard course at The Carolina Country Club.

FINAL RESULTS

Erskine won the tournament by 26 strokes, finishing with a tournament total of 908 following a final round of 310. The Flying Fleet shot 296 in the opening round and 302 in the second round. Belmont Abbey College finished runner-up at 934 while Emmanuel University came in third at 935.

Lindqvist trailed by one stroke following each of the first two rounds and shot 76 in the final round to win the tournament by three strokes. She finished with a stroke total of 221 after shooting 72 in the opening round and 73 in the second round. Belmont Abbey’s Ella Wiklander finished runner-up with a tournament total of 224.

Erskine earns the automatic bit into the NCAA Division II South Regional hosted at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee from May 4-6 at. The NCAA selections will be announced on NCAA.com on Sunday, April 26.
