GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced the 2026 men's volleyball all-conference honors.
The all-conference awards were chosen by the league's head coaches.
Belmont Abbey College’s Caden Day was tabbed Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year. Day ranked third in the league with an average of 3.27 kills per set and ranked second with 304 total kills. He also posted a .281 attack percentage, ranking him 10th in the conference. Day eclipsed 10 kills in 17 matches, including a season-high of 19 on February 11 against Erskine College. He posted a season-high of 11 digs on March 20 against the University of Mount Olive and added a season-high five blocks in the next match against Barton College.
Mount Olive’s Luca Colombo garners Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. He leads Conference Carolinas with an average of 2.87 digs per set and ranks second with 224 total digs. He posted 11 matches with at least 10 digs, including a season-high of 24 against Erskine College on February 21.
Davide Nicolini of Lees-McRae College was tabbed Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. He ranks fifth in the league with 265 total kills and his average of 2.73 kills per set ranks 10th. Nicolini leads Conference Carolinas with an average of 0.42 service aces per set with 97 total aces. The freshman also hit .210 this year, ranking him 20th in Conference Carolinas.
Lees-McRae head coach Sam Albus garnered Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year honors. He led the Bobcats to the third seed in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship, finishing the regular season with a 7-7 league record.
