Four Conference Carolinas teams ranked in NCAA Region Rankings in tennis and men's lacrosse

INDIANAPOLIS – In the first set of NCAA Regional rankings, Conference Carolinas has members ranked in men’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s tennis.

The first set of rankings are ranked in alphabetical order before the second set on Wednesday, April 22 will be ranked 1-10.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse and Men's and Women's Tennis Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections.

Belmont Abbey College Converse University and the University of Mount Olive are all under consideration in men’s tennis. Belmont Abbey is 12-6 while Mount Olive is 11-4. Converse owns an 11-6 overall record with an 11-5 mark in southeast region contests.

In women’s tennis, Belmont Abbey and Young Harris College are under consideration. The Crusaders are 16-5 while the Mountain Lions own a 14-5 mark.

In the south region rankings for men’s lacrosse, Belmont Abbey is under consideration with an 11-3 record.

There will be two more sets of rankings announced on April 22 and 29 before the NCAA Division II Championship fields are announced on May 3 for lacrosse and May 4 for tennis.
