GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2026 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Championship bracket was released on Friday as Belmont Abbey College will be the top seed.
Belmont Abbey won the regular season title with a record of 12-3, going 8-0 in Conference Carolinas play. Lees-McRae College will be the second seed with records of 10-5 overall and 7-1 in league games. Both teams receive byes into the semifinals on Friday, April 24 at Young Harris College.
North Greenville is the third seed and will host sixth seed Young Harris College on Tuesday, April 21 in a quarterfinal contest. The Trailblazers are 10-6 overall and 6-2 in league games while Young Harris is 3-12 overall and 2-6 in conference games. The winner will face Lees-McRae in the second semifinal at 7:00 p.m. on April 24.
The other quarterfinal will be played at fourth seed Barton College as the Bulldogs take on fifth seed the University of Mount Olive. The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a conference record of 5-3 and overall mark of 7-7 while Mount Olive finished with records of 5-7 overall and 4-4 in league games. The winner will take on Belmont Abbey in the first semifinal at 4:00 p.m. on April 24 at Young Harris.
Young Harris was awarded the sixth seed through a tiebreaker as Young Harris, Emmanuel, and Chowan all had 2-6 conference records. All three teams were 1-1 against each other and no results against other conference opponents differed. Young Harris, however, had a better goal differential in games among the tied teams with a goal differential of plus four compared to plus one for Chowan and minus five for Emmanuel.
The championship game will take place on Sunday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Young Harris.
