YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The 2026 Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Championship final is set as Young Harris College and Belmont Abbey College won their semifinal contests on Thursday.

No. 1 Young Harris def. No. 5 Emmanuel, 20-13
Young Harris jumped ahead with the first two goals of the game before scoring the final four goals of the opening period to take a 7-2 lead. The Mountain Lions added the first two goals of the second quarter and later led 12-3. Emmanuel scored the final three goals of the half, cutting their deficit to 12-6 at the half.

Emmanuel pulled within 13-8 in the third quarter, but Young Harris extended the lead to 15-8 going to the fourth period. The Mountain Lions pulled away in the final period to take the contest 20-13.

Addison Heiser led Young Harris with eight goals and one assist while Mary Troyer followed with three goals and three assists. Demi Cyzinski led Emmanuel with seven goals.

No. 2 Mount Olive No. 3 Belmont Abbey
Belmont Abbey opened the scoring with a pair of goals, but Mount Olive answered with three goals to take a 3-2 advantage after the opening 15 minutes. Belmont Abbey responded in the second period, outscoring the Trojans 5-1 to take a 7-4 lead at the break.

The Belmont Abbey offense erupted in the third quarter, outscoring Mount Olive 7-1 to take a 14-5 lead after three quarters. Mount Olive tallied three goals in the opening three minutes, but the Belmont Abbey defense clamped down and didn’t allow another goal to take the contest 14-8.

Young Harris faces Belmont Abbey at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in the championship contest.
