SUMTER, S.C. – The 2026 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship got underway with three first round matches on Wednesday and all three high seeds advanced. Barton College, Erskine College and Converse University all advanced to Thursday’s quarterfinals.

Fifth seed Erskine defeated eighth seed Francis Marion University while fourth seed Barton College topped ninth seed Shorter University 4-0. Erskine and Barton will face each other on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in a quarterfinal match.

Sixth seed Converse defeated seventh seed Lees-McRae College 4-2. The Valkyries will face third seed North Greenville University at 1:00 p.m. in a quarterfinal on Thursday.
