GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas had 13 individuals and two relays from five institutions qualify for the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The championships will be held May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas at Welch Stadium. Emporia State University will serve as the host of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
In the men’s championship, Conference Carolinas will have five individuals and one relay team from four institutions compete. Converse University will have Devron Davis in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash as well as the 4x100 meter relay while Ryan Hunter of Francis Marion University will compete in the javelin throw. Leland Smith and Antoine King of the University of Mount Olive will compete in the 100 meter dash and discus throw, respectively. Troy Cocco of North Greenville will also compete in the javelin throw.
Three Conference Carolinas institutions will be represented in the women’s championship as Mount Olive will have five individuals as well as the 4x100 meter relay. Futoria Harris will compete in the 100 and 200 meter dash while Serenity Harvey will compete in the 200 and 400 meter dash. Haniyyah Johnson will compete in the 100 meter hurdles and the long jump while Janara Bryant will compete in the triple jump and Jasmine Colwell will compete in the discus throw.
Converse University’s Grace Davis and Kamille Cunningham will compete in the 100 meter dash and high jump, respectively. Brielle George of Belmont Abbey College will compete in the high jump.
