SALISBURY, N.C. – The Erskine College fell to Catawba College in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Women’s Tennis Championship on Friday morning.

The Indians took the doubles point, winning the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. Catawba continued with wins at the third, fourth, fifth and sixth singles flights to take the dual 5-0.

Erskine won the Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship title. The Flying Fleet ended the season with a dual mark of 16-9.
