Emmanuel's Hull qualifies for NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship final to lead Conference Carolinas contingent at regional

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Emmanuel University as well as individuals from Barton College and Young Harris College, competed at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional over the last three days in Valdosta, Georgia. The Lions finished 13th with Gabriel Hull finishing in the top five.

Emmanuel finished with a team score of 875 after shooting 295 and 294 in the opening two rounds. The Lions closed with a round of 286 on Saturday.

Hull carded three rounds under par to lead Emmanuel. HE started with a round of one-under 71 before shooting 67 in the second round and closing with a round of two-under 70. He finished with a tournament score of eight-under 208.

RESULTS

Barton's Ryan Jahr finished 27th with a tournament score of 217, shooting an opening round of 73 before carding two rounds of 72.

Young Harris' Samuel Ankelstam finished 96 with a tournament score of 232.

The South/Southeast Regional championships were played at Valdosta Country Club in Valdosta, Georgia

Hull advances as an individual to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship on May 18–22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
