GREENVILLE, S.C. -The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2026 Academic All-America teams for softball and Conference Carolinas had one honoree. Jenna Walling of Francis Marion University was recognized.
Walling earned first team honors following an outstanding year. Walling previously earned Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Year honors as well as earning all-region and All-America honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). She was tabbed the D2CCA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Year while earning first team all-region and third team All-America honors. From the NFCA, Walling garnered first team all-region and second team All-America recognition.
She also earned Conference Carolinas Elite 26 and Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards for softball.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-America® program, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and participate in a specified percentage of athletic contests. The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
