Three from Conference Carolinas selected CSC Baseball Academic All-America

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2026 Academic All-America teams for baseball and Conference Carolinas had three honorees. Riley Orr of Francis Marion University along with Joe Whitaker and Caleb Burr of Belmont Abbey College were recognized.

Orr and Whitaker earned second team honors while Burr was selected third team.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-America® program, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and participate in a specified percentage of athletic contests. The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
