GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas had 10 programs and 83 student-athletes recognized this week when the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their 2026 Division II ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic teams.

In all 41 women and six women's teams were recognized along with 42 men and four men's teams. Barton College, Emmanuel University, Francis Marion University and Lees-McRae College had both their men's and women's teams recognized. Additionally, Belmont Abbey College and Erskine College had their women's programs honored.

Individually, Belmont Abbey led the way with 24 total student-athletes recognized, 15 men and nine women. Emmanuel followed with 15, nine men and six women while Barton had a total of 14 individuals recognized, seven men and seven women. Francis Marion had 12, seven men and five women while Erskine had nine women and Lees-McRae had four men and five women honored.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
