GREENVILLE, S.C. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced their Team Academic Awards, and Conference Carolinas had nine programs recognized.

In all, more than 1,432 collegiate and high school programs maintained a year-long GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award.
Conference Carolinas had nine programs honored, including both Emmanuel University women’s indoor and women’s beach teams.

Chowan University, Erskine College, Francis Marion University, University of Mount Olive, UNC Pembroke and North Greenville University had their women’s teams recognized along with Emmanuel while the Belmont Abbey College men’s team was honored.
