GREENVILLE, S.C. – Wingate University is picked to win the inaugural Conference Carolinas Women's Triathlon Championship.
The Bulldogs received four first place votes and 34 points to sit on top of the inaugural poll. Lenoir-Rhyne University received the final two first place votes and 31 points to land in the second spot. Emmanuel University came in third with 26 points and Newberry College came in fourth with 18 points.
Concord University (16), King University (13) and Barton College (9) rounded out the poll.
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Triathlon Championship will take place on Sunda, October 4 at 7:30 a.m. at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina.
The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and they can't vote for their own school.
