Faggart, a native of Mount Holly, North Carolina, earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Coker Cobra Classic hosted over the weekend after leading the Patriots in all three matches in kills. As a team, the Patriots went 2-1 overall in the season-opening event, including an impressive reverse sweep over Valdosta State on Friday afternoon. Faggart paces the Conference Carolinas with 51 total kills after reaching double-digits in every match and posting a .348 hitting percentage. She also contributed five blocks and seven digs.
On Friday, Faggart delivered a career-high 20 kills on a staggering .419 clip with three digs and one block as the Patriots won a five-set thriller over Valdosta State. The following day, she tallied 14 kills, two digs, and two blocks against USC Aiken before registering 17 kills on a .389 hitting percentage with two digs and two blocks in a 3-0 sweep over Coker.

Paxton anchored the back row for Southern Wesleyan in the opening week, averaging 4.57 digs per set. She started with 16 digs and 15 digs in sweeps of Georgia College and Albany State, respectively. She then accounted for 23 digs in a narrow 3-2 defeat to West Alabama before closing the week with 10 digs against Carson-Newman.

Marusa Pesut | Emmanuel | Sophomore | Setter | Maribur, Slovenia
In three matches last week, Pesut averaged 11.27 assists, 1.82 digs and 0.36 aces per set. She started with 31 helpers and eight digs in a win over Augusta before handing out a career-high 61 assists to go along with eight digs against Mars Hill. The sophomore closed the week with 32 assists, four aces and four digs in a win over Fort Valley State.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Josh Ehrlich | UNC Pembroke | Senior | Quarterback | Annapolis, Maryland
Ehrlich was key to UNC Pembroke's come-from-behind win over 19th-ranked Wingate this week. He guided the offense to 21 second-half points while going 20-for-31 passing with one touchdown. On the ground, he ran for 69 yards on 17 carries for one touchdown.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Fred Giles | UNC Pembroke | Graduate | Defensive Line | Jonesboro, Arkansas
Giles logged six tackles, including two for loss, in UNC Pembroke's win over 19th-ranked Wingate. Five tackles were unassisted as added one sack for a loss of three yards and three quarterback hurries.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners

Santana, Jr., was perfect on three field goal attempts and four extra points in Erskine's season-opening win over Bluefield University. The freshman went 4-for-4 on extra points while making all three of his field goal attempts from 20, 27 and 34 yards.
