IN THE RANKINGS
  • Following their win at 18/19 West Alabama, North Greenville University is ranked 25th American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll and 24th in the D2Football.com poll.
  • This marks the first time North Greenville has cracked the top 25 in either poll each of the last two years. The last time a Conference Carolinas team was ranked in both polls was October 13, 2025 when UNC Pembroke was ranked 20th in the AFCA poll and 19th in the D2Football.com poll.
STATISTICAL HIGHLIGHTS
  • For the second straight week, Conference Carolinas saw the largest comeback in conference history, 17 points. A week ago, North Greenville set the mark, and this week UNC Pembroke matched that as they trailed 13/9 Valdosta State 27-10 before coming back to take the contest 44-41.
  • Week 3 also marked the first time in league history that members took down ranked teams with the Braves topping 13/9 Valdosta State and North Greenville earning a 24-14 at 18/19 West Alabama.
  • The North Greenville defense was stout last week, matching league records of three interceptions and five forced turnovers in a game.
  • Two of the Trailblazer interceptions came from Kaliber Hoey, who also matched a league record.
  • Chowan University's Tyler Adkins set league records for passing yards in a game, 465, and total offense, 447, in the Hawk win over Barton.
  • UNC Pembroke's kicker, Jared Navidad matched the league record with 14 points scored kicking and most field goals with three.
