CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Barton held off Emmanuel to earn its second straight Conference Carolinas Men's Swimming Championship team title on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.
Barton finished the 2020 Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships with a team total of 828.50 to narrowly best Emmanuel (809). King finished third with 493 points.
Emmanuel's Alex Sobers picked up the Most Valuable Swimmer award, while Emmanuel's Elder Oliveira was named the Freshman of the Year. Barton's Tyler Ziegler was tabbed the Coach of the Year. Salem's Austin Kephart with a perfect grade-point average of 4.0 garnered the prestigious Elite 23 award for men's swimming.
