How did you choose your major?
I chose it because it was the most beneficial for my career goals in Exercise Science. Barton provides hands-on experience.
What are your career goals?
To be a physical therapist. I would like to open up my own practice.
What is your favorite class? Why?
Biology because I really like science.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
Take college seriously with as much fun as possible.
Years involved in SAAC?
Two years.
What makes Conference Carolinas a great conference to be part of?
The teams come together and work to make the college experience better for the student-athlete.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
Academics must come first, but it takes discipline and self accountability to balance them out.
What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
Conference Basketball Tournaments and NCAA Regional.
One thing people don’t know about you is?
I understand French and Spanish.
What does being a champion in body, mind and soul mean to you?
Having a trained body, a balanced mind and a motivation-driven soul is what being a healthy athlete is.
