HIGH POINT, N.C.-
Conference Carolinas fall sport championships continue Monday and
Tuesday with the start of the women's & men's soccer
championships. Teams regular seasons come to an end this
weekend with final league games Saturday.
Saturday's games have
high implications as final seeds will be determined and teams that
have an opportunity to host awarded. On the men's side
Limestone travels to Erskine where the regular season championship
and No. 1 seed will be on the line. For the women Lees-McRae
has claimed the regular season title with Belmont Abbey claiming
the second seed. From their, seeds three through eight all
boil down to Saturday's results.
Tournament titles will
be back on the line starting Monday with the women's quarterfinals
followed by the men's start on Tuesday. Keep up with all the league

The fall conference
championships officially started with cross country last Friday,
October 25, followed by the men’s and women’s soccer
tournaments starting November, 4th and the women’s
volleyball tournament starting November 16th. Stay

Women’s &
men’s cross country will be the first sports to get the
tournament action started as they have their championship meet next
Friday, October 25th. Belmont Abbey College is hosting the
championships at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. All league
teams will be competing for the conference title as the
women’s 5K is set to begin at 4:00 PM with the men’s 8K
run following with a 5:00 PM start.
Women’s soccer
quarterfinal games start Monday, November 4, 2013 with the top
eight teams battling for the right to claim the championship
trophy. The men’s soccer quarterfinals start the
following day November 5, 2013 culminating with their championship
final on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Both the women and men
play all games at higher seeded teams throughout, with pairings
being finalized after league regular season games are
completed.
Women’s
volleyball teams start their championship quests with first round
games beginning Saturday, November 16, continuing play through the
championship a week later on Saturday, November 23. The
tournament is set for teams to play at the higher seeded
team’s home court throughout the tournament, with pairings
being finalized after league regular season games are
completed.
