Player of the Year:

Valentina Urquiola, Mount Olive

Valentina Urquiola recorded four top 10 finishes in seven tournaments this year, including a first-place finish at the CenturyLink Invitational and a second-place finish at the MOC Spring Invite. Urquiola averaged 77.86 strokes per round during the regular season. She shot 75 or lower in five of 14 rounds in 2011-12. A senior from Venezuela, Urquiola will finish her career with the most wins and lowest stroke average in Mount Olive women's golf history.

Freshman of the Year:

Rachel Moore, Erskine

Rachel Moore from Erskine College was named Freshman of the Year after leading the Flying Fleet team throughout the year. The freshman from Lexington, SC had multiple standout performances highlighted by her fifth place tie at The Aramark Collegiate Invitational Tournament where she carded a 175 (88,87) in the two-day tournament to led the Fleet to a third place showing. Moore also shined at the Agnes McAmis Memorial Tournament where she fired a two-day score of 154 (77, 77).

Coach of the Year:

Chip Spiron, Mount Olive

Chip Spiron wins Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. He becomes the fourth Mount Olive coach in the past eight years to earn coach of the year honors in back-to-back seasons. Mount Olive posted three of the four lowest 36-hole scores in school history this year, including a record-shattering 637 for a fifth-place finish out 15 teams at the Dana Rader Intercollegiate. The Trojans also recorded a pair of second-place finishes this season.
