Individual National Qualifiers: Mount Olive's Leah Hanle, earned honors in both the 3000m run and 5000m run. Hanle would place third in both the 3000m (9:23.76) and 5000m (16:22.47), which earned her first team All-America honors in both events.
The Mount Olive 4x400m team of Arne Leppelsack, Richard Fisher, Johnny Middlebrooks and Tedric Shannon earned first team All-America status with a time of 3:10.23 for a fourth-place finish.

North Greenville University's JJ Sherman was named an All-America after finishing fifth in the 60m dash with a time of 6.78.
Barton College's Larry Russell, Jr. participated in the long jump and produced a fourth-place finish. His jump of 7.69m earned him All-America status.
