Three Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Named to Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Teams

GREENWOOD, IND. - Conference Carolinas was represented by three student-athletes from three sports on the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Team that the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday (May 17) afternoon.

University of Mount Olive led the way with two Trojans making the list, with men's volleyball player Robert Poole and men's tennis player Martin Moser. Limestone College's women's lacrosse player Alyssa Voccia closed out the Conference Carolinas honorees.

All first team Academic All-District honorees will advance to the Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America selections will be named.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
