HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer midfielder Martim Galvao has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 26 - Nov. 1, the conference announced today.

Galvao, a sophomore from Lisbon, Portugal, was the driving force behind the No. 1 Falcons going 2-0 last week and running the table during the 2015 season. The dynamic playmaker finished the week with six points on four assists and one goal. In a non-conference match against Catawba on Oct. 28, Galvao tallied his lone goal of the week and added an assist to lead the Falcons to a 4-1 win. Three days later, Galvao would find teammates on three occasions to tally three assists and help preserve an undefeated season with a 4-1 win over Southern Wesleyan.


Pfeiffer's Regis Named Week 8 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

       

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer forward Nathan Regis has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 19 - Oct. 25, the conference announced today.

A junior from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, Regis led the No. 1 Falcons to a 2-0 week and extended their inning streak to 15 games behind his eight points on four goals. In a 3-0 win over Emmanuel Oct. 21, Regis would net one goal while placing three of six shots on goal. Three days later, Regis would tally his second hat-trick of the year as he scored all three of the Falcons' goals in a 3-0 victory over King.


Limestone's Machado Named Week 7 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

      

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone midfielder Gui Machado has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 12 - Oct. 18, the conference announced today.

Machado, a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, led the Saints to a dominant 2-0 record last week behind his nine points on four goals and one assist. In a 6-0 win over King on Oct. 14, Machado notched his second first-half hat-trick of the season, scoring all three goals within the first 17 minutes of action, and adding an assist later in the half. For an encore, Machado would score the go-ahead goal in the Saints' 3-1 win over Barton three days later.


Pfeiffer's Regis Named Week 6 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

       

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer forward Nathan Regis has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 5 - Oct. 11, the conference announced today.

Regis, a junior from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, propelled the No. 2 Falcons to a 2-0 week behind his six points on three goals. In the team’s 2-0 win over Mount Olive, he would register one goal on three shots on goal. Three days later on Oct. 10, Regis would net two goals on five shots to lead the Falcons to a 5-0 blowout win of Belmont Abbey.


Mount Olive’s Gaypia Named Week 5 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

      

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Mount Olive forward Cooper Gaypia has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, the conference announced today.

A junior forward from Monrovia, Liberia, Gaypia had a historic week for the Trojans, scoring four goals and leading them to a 2-0 record. The striker got his week started with a 3-1 win on September 30 against Queens (N.C.). Gaypia netted all three Trojan goals in the win over the Royals, which tied a school record for goals in a match and marked the first Mount Olive hat-trick in nearly a decade. As an encore, Gaypia would add another goal in Mount Olive’s 2-0 victory over King on October 4.


Limestone’s Machado Named Week 4 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

     

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone midfielder Gui Machado has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 21-27, the conference announced today.

Machado, a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, led the No. 12 Saints to an impressive 2-0 week after posting four goals for eight points. Machado would kick the week off with a hat-trick, with all three goals coming in the first 21 minutes, in Limestone’s 5-1 victory over Lees-McRae on Sept. 23. Two days later, he would notch his second game-winner of the week when he found the back of the net in the 36th minute against North Greenville. The Saints would go on to win the match 3-0 over the Crusaders.


Pfeiffer’s Siaj Named Week 3 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer forward Jaime Siaj has been tabbed the Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 14-20, the conference announced today.

The sophomore from Madrid, Spain led the No. 21 Falcons to a 2-0 record last week with six points on three goals. In a 3-1 victory over Barton on Sept. 16, Siaj netted a late goal to put the contest out of reach. The striker followed up his goal against the Bulldogs with both scores in the Falcons’ 2-1 overtime victory over No. 6 Limestone on Sept. 19. Siaj fired off 14 shots on the week, with 10 landing on target.


Pfeiffer’s Siaj Named Week 2 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer forward Jaime Siaj has been tabbed the Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for games played between Sept. 7-13, the conference announced today.

Siaj, a sophomore from Madrid Spain, propelled the No. 25 Falcons to a 3-0 week after registering four goals and two assists for a total of 10 points. The striker got the week started with two goals and a helper in the Falcons' 4-3 2OT win against Flagler on Sept. 7. He would follow that performance up with the game-winner in Pfeiffer's 1-0 win against Chowan on Sept. 10. Jaime would close out the week with another game-winning goal in the 89th minute of the Falcons' dramtic 4-2 win over Coker on Sept. 13.  


King’s Hicks Named Week 1 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

  

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King midfielder Chris Hicks has been tabbed the Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for games played the first week of the season, the conference announced today.

The junior from Gloucester, England led the Tornado to a 1-1 record last week with six points on three goals. Hicks did all his damage in King’s 4-0 victory over Concord on September 5, notching a hat-trick in the contest. He got the Tornado on the board in the 28th minute as he netted a cross from teammate Eli Carrasco. He followed that up with a 31st minute goal off an assist from Ryan Murphy and concluded his scoring with another assist from Murphy in the 60th minute.
