Mount Olive’s Dahlke Named Week 6 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

      

High Point, NC – Jonathan Dahlkea native of Cologne, Germany, had an outstanding showing at the Royal Cross Country Challenge, finishing the event 10th overall with a 8K time of 24:38.7. The sophomore's time was fourth out of more than 250 non-DI athletes and second out of 85 Conference Carolinas runners. Dahlke’s finish also rocketed Mount Olive to a 2nd-place team finish, beating the likes of Duke and Wake Forest.


Limestone’s Darazi Named Week 5 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

      

High Point, NC – A junior from Anderson, S.C., Michael Darazi had a great performance in the USC Upstate Invitational, placing 61st overall. His 8K time of 28:47.24 saw him beat out more than 30 Division I competitors and run the second fastest time of all Division II runners, helping his team beat the likes of Presbyterian and Gardner Webb in team standings.


Mount Olive’s Dahlke Named Week 4 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

     

High Point, NC – Jonathan Dahlke, a sophomore from Cologne, Germany, competed in the Wingate Bulldog Stampede 8K and led the Trojans to the team title. He ran a time of 26:11.50, which garnered him a seventh-place overall finish out of 178 runners and first-place finish out of 49 Conference Carolinas runners.


King’s Ballowe Named Week 3 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

    

High Point, NC – James Russell Ballowe, a sophomore from Roseland, Va., competed in the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite 8K and led the Tornado to a 11th-place finish in the loaded DI field. He ran a personal best of 26:36.28, which garnered him a 78th-place finish.


North Greenville’s Sessions Named Week 2 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

   

High Point, NC – A junior from Mauldin, S.C., Ben Sessions finished the Furman Cross Country Classic with a 70th-place overall finish among 296 competitors. Ben ran the 8K event in 26.22.29, which ranked 19th against DII, DIII and NAIA runners. His time also cemented him a spot in the NGU record books, as his time was good for the the third fastest 8K time in school history.


King’s Cook Named Week 1 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

  

High Point, NC – King’s Tanner Cook have been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. He finished the Covered Bridge Open with a 22nd-place finish. His time of 21:00.51 on the 6.4K course was good for third best among all DII runners at the event.
