Mount Olive’s Henry Named Week 6 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

       

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Bailee Henry, A junior from Pico Rivera, Calif., finished 28th overall out of more than 300 runners at the Royal Cross Country Challenge with a 5K time of 19:00.5. Her time was good enough for sixth best out of more than 200 non-DI runners and first among 77 Conference Carolinas runners. Henry's performance propelled the Trojans to a 10th-place finish out of 37 teams.


Limestone’s Malone Named Week 5 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

      

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Allyson Malone, a freshman from Athens, Ohio, placed 22nd out of 122 runners in the USC Upstate Invitational with a 5k time of 19:25.20. Her time was the fastest of all DII runners and bumped Limestone ahead of Wofford, Gardner Webb, The Citadel, and other DI schools in the team standings.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A freshman from Athens, Ohio, Allyson Malone paced the Saints to a 10th-place finish out of 20 teams at the Wingate Bulldog Stampede. She came in 17th overall, first among Conference Carolinas runners, after running the 6K event in 23:55.08.


King’s Sanford Named Week 3 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

    

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A sophomore Canton, Ga., Hannah Sanford ran a personal best of 23:50.09 en route to a 58th-place finish at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite 6K. The event featured 11 Division I teams out of 13, which she helped pace the Tornado to an 11th-place finish.


King’s Schreiber Named Week 2 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Samantha Schreiber, a freshman from Gladys, Va., started her King career with a boom, as she picked up a first-place finish at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational. She posted a 5K time of 20.30.35 in the win and led her team to a second-place finish.


Converse’s Sutherland Named Week 1 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

  

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A senior from Cowspen, S.C., Ashly Sutherland took the top honor at the USC Upstate Eye Opener Invitational, finishing first among 62 DI and DII runners with a time of 19:12.16 on the 5K course.
