Chowan’s Novachuk Named Week 11 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Polina Novachuk was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 9-15, the Conference announced today. This marks her fifth POTW honor of the season and Chowan's seventh straight.

Novachuk, a senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, went a combined 4-0 last week at the No. 1 singles and doubles flights to lead Chowan to an undefeated 11-0 record in conference play and regular season Conference Carolinas title in its first year in the league.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Polina Novachuk was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 2-8, the Conference announced today. This marks her fourth POTW honor of the season and Chowan's sixth straight.

A senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Novachuk posted a combined record of 5-1 at No. 1 singles and doubles in conference action last week. Her play paced the Hawks to three team wins and a share of the Conference Carolinas regular season title.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Polina Novachuk was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 26 - Apr. 1, the Conference announced today. This marks her third POTW honor of the season and Chowan's fifth straight.

Novachuk, a senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, posted a pair of wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Conference opponent Limestone last week. Her play moved the Hawks to 6-0 on the season and atop the Conference Carolinas standings.

Chowan’s Carrier Named Week 8 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Cynthia Carrier was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 19-25, the Conference announced today. This marks Chowan's fourth straight POTW honor.

A junior from Levis, Quebec, Carrier posted a combined 6-0 record in singles and doubles play last week, including a 4-0 Conference Carolinas mark, to move the Hawks to 11-3 overall and 5-0 in Conference play.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Hanna Tarlouskaya was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 12-18, the Conference announced today. The POTW honor is Chowan's third straight.

Taelouskaya, a freshman from Minsk, Belarus, went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles play to lead the Hawks to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins against Emmanuel and Erskine.

A senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Novachuk posted a combined 6-2 record last week at the No. 1 singles and doubles flights and led the Hawks to a 3-1 team record against a solid group of regionally ranked opponents.

Novachuk, a senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, collected six combined wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to lead Chowan to a 3-1 record as a team last week.

Lees-McRae’s Allen Named Week 4 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae College's Sandy Allen was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 19-25, the Conference announced today. This marks Lees-McRae's second straight POTW honor.

A freshman from St. Johns, Fla., Allen posted a 4-0 record last week for the Bobcats at No. 1 singles and doubles. She got her week started against Converse with an 8-6 win in doubles, followed by a 7-5, 7-6 straight-set victory in singles play. She would then lead LMC to an 8-1 win over Pikeville with her wins at No. 1 doubles (8-5) and No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-3).

Lees-McRae’s Harrison Named Week 3 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae College's Emily Harrison was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 12-18, the Conference announced today.

Harrison, a sophomore from Lowgap, N.C., went a combined 2-0 last week and propelled the Bobcats to a 5-4 season opening win over Mars Hill. In doubles play, she would capture an 8-0 victory at the No. 3 flight. Harrison would then secure the Lees-McRae victory with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

Limestone’s Dolfi Named Week 2 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Alexandra Dolfi was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today.

A freshman from Sospel, Spain, Dolfi went a combined 1-1 last week at against Division I Gardner-Webb. She would post a three-set victory at No. 2 singles for the Saints.

Erskine’s Silver Named Week 1 Women's Tennis Player of the Week   

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College's Alex Silver was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 1-4, the Conference announced today.

Silver, a junior from Greensboro, N.C., posted a combined 3-1 record on the week. She would get the week started with a 8-5 victory at No. 5 singles and a default win at No. 3 doubles against Lee University. Silver would then pick up a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles over Coker, while dropping a 9-8 decision at No. 3 doubles over the Cobras.
