Limestone's Moore-Cowell Named Week 9 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College midfielder Kristian Moore-Cowell has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 22-28, the Conference announced today. This marks Moore-Cowel's first POTW of the season and the fourth for Limestone.

A senior from Essex, England, Moore-Cowell led the Saints to an outright Conference Carolinas men's soccer regular season crown last week. He would net a goal and dish an assist on the week.

Against Erskine, Moore-Cowell led a second-half charge by Limestone who scored three goals in the half. All three goals would come with the Saints playing a man-down, which saw the Moore-Cowell score once and dish out an assist to win the regular season crown outright.


Chowan's Myers Named Week 8 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Chowan University midfielder Trevin Myers has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 15-21, the Conference announced today. This marks Myers first POTW of the season and the second for Chowan.

Myers, a sophomore from Lehigh Acres, Fla., propelled Chowan to a 2-0-1 record last week, with the two wins coming against Conference Carolinas foes. He registered six points on three goals.

Myers found the back of the net once in a 3-0 win over Barton. The Hawks would play to a 0-0 tie with Lander, while posting a 3-0 win over Emmanuel with Myers scoring twice in the contest.


Chowan's Sims Named Week 7 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Chowan University defender Toby Sims has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 8-14, the Conference announced today.

A sophomore from Tuxford, England, Sims paced Chowan to a 2-0 record and pair of conference wins last week. He registered three points on one goal and one assist and anchor a defense that would let up only one goal on the week.

In a 2-0 win over Lees-McRae, Sims would dish one helper and help the team post a shutout of the Bobcats. In a 2-1 win over King, Sims netted one goal on one shot.


Lees-McRae's Vassart Named Week 6 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Lees-McRae College forward Pol Vassart has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 1-7, the Conference announced today.

Vassart, a senior from Tournon-sur-Rhone, France, led Lees-McRae to a pair of non-conference wins after registering 10 points on four goals and two assists. In an 8-2 rout of Newberry, Vassart would net two goals and dish out two helper. In a 3-0 shutout of Milligan, Vassart would score two of the teams' three goals.


Barton's Mancio Named Week 5 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Barton College forward Ruben Mancio has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 24-30, the Conference announced today.

A sophomore from Cadiz, Spain, Mancio helped Barton go a perfect 3-0 last week, including a 2-0 record in Conference Carolinas play. He registered seven points on three goals and one assist in two matches. In a 2-0 win over Southern Wesleyan, Mancio netted one goal. In a 4-2 upset win over No. 24 Limestone, Mancio scored two goals and dished out one assist.


Belmont Abbey's Trompeter Named Week 4 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Belmont Abbey College midfielder Mark Trompeter has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 17-23, the Conference announced today.

Trompeter, a senior from Plano, Texas, scored the game-winning goal in Belmont Abbey's lone match last week. Trompeter would find the back of the net just 21 seconds into the match and lead the Crusaders to the 1-0 victory over No. 10 Limestone.


Limestone's Lollar Named Week 3 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College midfielder Adrian Lollar has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 10-16, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Snellville, Ga., Lollar posted his first career points for the No. 12 Saints in a win over Clayton St. last week. He would notch the first goal of the match and then dish out an assist a few moments later, which would propel Limestone to an eventual 3-0 win.


Limestone's Thuyl Named Week 2 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College midfielder Luca Thuyl has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 3-9, the Conference announced today.

Thuyl, a sophomore from Xanten, Germany, was in on both of No. 17 Limestone's goals, notching a goal and assist, in a 2-1 double-overtime win over Chowan in the Conference Carolinas opener. After the Saints went down 1-0 in the 65th minute, he delivered the equalizer less than two minutes later. Thuyl would then add the assist on the game-winner in the 107th minute to help Limestone stay perfect on the young season.


Limestone's Smith Named Week 1 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

                

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College defender Jamie Smith has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Aug. 27 - Sept. 2, the Conference announced today.

A sophomore from Coldfield, England, Smith led the No. 14 Saints to a pair of wins to open the 2018 season 2-0. He would tally the match-winning assist in Limestone's come-from-behind, 3-2, double-overtime win over Lenoir-Rhyne to start the year. Smith then anchored a backline that would pitch a 1-0 shutout against Queens (N.C.) to close out the week.
