HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College's Kent Shiell was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 8-14, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Shiell and the third overall for Belmont Abbey.

Shiell, a freshman from Mandeville, La., went a combined 2-0 last week and led Belmont Abbey to a Conference Carolinas win over Southern Wesleyan.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Charles Jabaley was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 1-7, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Chattanooga, Tenn., Jabaley went a combined 4-0 last week and led King to a 2-0 team record in Conference Carolinas play with wins over Southern Wesleyan and North Greenville.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Armando Ferreira was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 25-31, the Conference announced today.

Ferreira, a sophomore from Minacu, Brazil, went a combined 4-0 last week and led No. 41 Mount Olive to a 2-0 team record in Conference Carolinas play to keep the team atop the league standings.

A junior from San Jose dos Campos, Brazil, Sasaki went a combined 5-1 last week and led Emmanuel to a 2-1 team record in Conference Carolinas play.

Blythe, a junior from Fort Myers, Fla., went a combined 2-0 last week and led Belmont Abbey to a 6-1 team win over Barton in Conference Carolinas play.

A sophomore from Bogata, Colombia, Agudelo went a combined 6-0 last week and led the Bulldogs to a 3-0 team record.

Maria, a freshman from Punjab, India, went a combined 4-1 last week.

A senior from Vocklabruck, Austria, Moser registered a 2-0 combined record last week and led the Trojans to a 5-0 Conference Carolinas win over Chowan.

Bedard, a junior from Varennes, Quebec, registered a 4-0 combined record last week, including a win against the No. 36 ranked doubles team in Division I.

Kovats, a junior from Bradenton, Fla., registered a 2-2 combined record during the opening weekend of competition and led the Warriors to a 1-1 team record.
