North Greenville's Grant and King's Mirabal Named Conference Carolinas Baseball Players of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Connor Grant was tabbed the Conference Carolinas Baseball Player of the Week, while King University's Octavio Mirabal was tabbed the Conference Carolinas Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today.

A junior from Columbia, S.C., Grant produced seven hits, including three homers, and seven RBI with a .538 average to lead NGU to a 3-1 week.

Mirabal, a senior from Miami, Fla., picked up his second straight POTW honor after tossing another complete game for the Tornado. He tossed seven innings of work with nine strikeouts, while giving up four hits, one unearned run and one walk.
