HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Kenny Hairston has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 9-11, the Conference announced today.
Hairston, a senior from Charlotte, N.C., led the Saints to a 2-0 record over the weekend in the Conference Carolinas/South Atlantic Conference Challenge. In the two victories, Hairston averaged 25.5 points, five rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal per game.
Against Mars Hill, Hairston poured in 24 points on 9-for-16 shooting, including 6-for-12 from three-point range. He would add four rebounds and one steal in the 92-88 win over the Lions. As an encore, Hairston would continue his hot scoring against Wingate, as he dropped 27 points and grabbed six rebounds to go with three assists, one block and one steal in a 95-93 victory.

Andrew Gardner (Lees-McRae) - Averaged 14 points, 4.5 rebounds, two assists and one steal in two games.
Bobby Stenborg (Barton) - Averaged 18.5 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in two games.
Alan Treakle (Mount Olive) - Averaged 16.5 points, two rebounds, 1.5 steals and one assist in two games.
Brandon Simpson (Emmanuel) - Averaged 18.5 points, five rebounds and one steal in two games.
Kovi Tate (North Greenville) - Averaged 14.5 points and seven rebounds in two games. Posted one double-double.
DeQuan Abrom (Belmont Abbey) - Averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games.
