2017 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship Preview

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College captured the Conference Carolinas men's soccer regular season title officially on Saturday (Oct. 28) afternoon. The Saints have claimed the No. 1 seed in the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship after finishing the season with an unbeaten 9-0-1 conference mark for 28 points.

Lees-McRae College locked up the No. 2 seed after finishing the season 7-3-0 for 21 points. Belmont Abbey College nabbed the No. 3 seed with 19 points with a 6-3-1 record. In its first year as a Conference Carolinas member, Chowan University took the No. 4 seed and final quarterfinal home match with 17 points after finishing the year 5-3-2.

Southern Wesleyan University was named the No. 5 seed after finishing the season 4-3-3 with 15 points. Earning the No. 6 seed was the University of Mount Olive with its 14 points and 4-4-2 record. Rounding out the championship participants at No. 7 and No. 8 are Erskine College (3-5-2) with 11 points and North Greenville University (3-6-1) with 10 points, respectively.

The 2017 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship quarterfinals will be held on the campus of the higher seed on Tuesday, Oct. 31. The semifinals and final will be played on the campus of the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinal round on Friday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 5.
