Eight Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Players Earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors


KANSAS CITY, MO. - Eight Conference Carolinas men's soccer players were named to the 2017 Division II United Soccer Coaches Association All-Southeast Region team, the Association announced today.

Of the eight players honored, one was named to the first team and seven to the second team. Limestone College paced the Conference with five selections, while Chowan University, Lees-McRae College and University of Mount Olive each landed one player.

Ruairi Croskery of Limestone was the long first team honoree.

The second team was made up of four more Saints, as Dominic Boland, Thomas Osborne, Noah Sale and Jamie Smith all received honors. Lees-McRae's Tom Deeley and Mount Olive's Sebastian Loibl concluded the Conference Carolinas selections.

Conference Carolinas is an NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
