Mount Olive's Craig Named Conference Carolinas Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.University of Mount Olives's Adam Craig has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for meets held Feb. 5 - Feb. 11, the Conference announced today.

A junior from Lauder, Scotland, Craig put forth a strong performance in the 5000 meter run at the GVSU Big Meet last Friday.  His time of 14:36.04 was good for 15th place in a stacked field of nearly 200 runners.  That time is both a national provisional qualifying mark and a school record.  Craig sits atop the conference standings in that event going into the conference championship next weekend.
