HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University outside hitter Jeff Sprayberry has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played from Apr. 10-16, the Conference announced today.
A junior from Oak Forest, Ill., Sprayberry helped King clinch a share of the Conference Carolinas regular season title with his performance in a 3-0 win over North Greenville. He would hit .476 and put away 13 kills to go with two digs, a service ace and a block.
During the regular season, Sprayberry tallied 341 kills and 30 service aces with a .266 hitting percentage. His total kills rank first in Conference Carolinas, while his 3.44 kills per set rank third and total service aces rank seventh.
