HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University officially earned its bid to the 2018 National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship, the NCAA announced Sunday (Apr. 22) afternoon.
The Tornado received a bid into the seven-team bracket as an automatic qualifier after winning the 2018 Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Championship on Saturday (Apr. 21) night. King won the championship match in dominating fashion by sweeping two-time defending champion Barton, 3-0.
King (23-5) will play Ohio State in an opening round play-in match on Thursday, Apr. 26 at 7 p.m. The match will be played on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
