HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University middle blocker Matthew McManaway has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 9-15, the Conference announced today.
A senior from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, McManaway posted 12 kills on a .550 hitting clip and added five blocks, two digs and one ace in NGU's 3-1 victory over Belmont Abbey last week.
McManaway currently has 229 kills on a .297 hitting percentage with 95 total blocks. His 95 blocks are second in Conference Carolinas, while his hitting percentage ranks eighth in the league.
