HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Jacob Gonzalez has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for races ran the week of Sept. 24-30, the Conference announced today.
Jacob Gonzalez, a sophomore from Four Oaks, N.C. was the highest placing Trojan in the Men's Gold 8K race at the Paul Short Invitational, which included athletes from top Division I programs. Gonzalez was the highest placing Division II runner in the Paul Short Men's Gold 8K race, clocking in with a time of 25:15 to finish 47th out of 360 competitors.
