71 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track and Field Athletes Named Division II All-Region Honorees

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Conference Carolinas had 71 student-athletes named All-Region honorees for the NCAA Division II outdoor track and field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday (May 14) afternoon.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of the region’s top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.

A total of 1831 honors were handed out to USTFCCCA member institutions on Tuesday, which included 926 to men’s programs and an additional 905 to women’s programs.

Conference Carolinas had 71 individuals, 38 men and 33 women, receive Southeast All-Region honors. Of the 71, 13 women received all-region honors in multiple events, while 11 men received multiple all-region recognition.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University.
