Limestone's Smith Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College guard Keidra Smith has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 10-12, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Mebane, N.C., Smith paced the Saints to a pair of wins over Newberry and Coker in the Conference Carolinas/South Atlantic Conference Challenge. In the two games Smith averaged a double-double of 21.5 points and 10 rebounds and two assists.

In an 90-74 blowout of Newberry, Smith registered 23 points on 8-for-15 shooting, with four treys on seven attempts, and eight rebounds. A day later against Coker, Smith would tally 20 points, with 10 coming in the fourth quarter, to go with 12 boards to lead Limestone to a 62-52 victory.
