HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Keidra Smith has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11, the Conference announced today. This marks her third POTW honor this season and Limestone's fourth.
Smith, a senior from Mebane, N.C., posted two double-doubles and averaged 23 points, 11.5 rebounds and two steals to lead the Saints to a 2-0 record last week.
Smith got the week started with 24 points and 12 boards in a 64-56 win over Erskine. She would close the week with 22 points, 11 rebounds and three steals in a 71-64 win over Emmanuel.
Smith currently averages 17.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Her rebounds per game rank first in Conference Carolinas, while her points per game ranks fifth.
