HIGH POINT, N.C. – Emmanuel College guard Lochlain Corliss has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 3-9, the Conference announced today.
Corliss, a senior from Cumming, Ga., led the Lions to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins and stuffed the stat sheet by averaging 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals per game.
In only 21 minutes in a 72-50 win over Converse, Corliss scored 12 points, dished out five helpers, collected four steals and pulled down three boards. Corliss would then only miss one shot in an 81-77 win over Barton, scoring 24 points on 8-for-9 shooting, including 2-for-2 three-point shooting and 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Corliss would add seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals to her game totals.
Corliss currently averages 12 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and three steals per game. Her steals per game rank first in Conference Carolinas, while her assists per game rank third.

Maria Kuhlman (Belmont Abbey) - Averaged 23 points, eight rebounds, two steals and one assist in two games. Posted one double-double.
Kori West (King) - Averaged 22 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and one block in one game. Posted one double-double.
Schekinah Bimpa (Limestone) - Averaged 17 points, 9.5 rebounds and one steal in two games. Posted one double-double.
Lisana Burnett (Southern Wesleyan) - Averaged 15 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in one game.
Brea Forbes (Lees-McRae) - Averaged 26 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists in one game.
