Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball: Weekly Recap and Top Performers - Thursday, October 12

HIGH POINT, N.C. - A number of Conference Carolinas women's volleyball games were contested Tuesday and Wednesday.  Of particular note was the University of Mount Olive's non-conference match against Chowan, in which several NCAA Division II records were broken.  Together, the two teams surpassed the NCAA Division II record for total digs in a match after they recorded 211 total between themselves on Tuesday night.  The record for total attacks attempted was also broken by almost 100 as the teams posted 418 total attack attempts to best the previous mark of 325.  The match also saw the two teams record the second-most kills ever in a match, at 112, and come within one assist of tying the record for totals assists in one match.  Scores, recaps, and top performers for that game and the others contested can be found below.
