A freshman from Swanage, England, Bastow first carded an even-par 216 (70-69-77) to finish tied for eighth at the season-opening Bearcat Fall Invitational at the par-72, 7,073-yard Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
Bastow followed that up by finishing tied for 19
th at 218 at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,166-yard Chattahoochee Golf Club. Bastow carded a 69-77-72 over the course of three rounds to finish with the 218.
