A freshman from Warsaw, Poland, Mielniczuk was strong for the Lions in their tri-meet with Montevallo and Berry in finishing first twice individually and also being a part of two relay wins.
In the 200 freestyle, Mielniczuk placed first with a top-10 national time of 1:40.49. Mielniczuk’s time of 20.79 in the 50 freestyle allowed him to finish first and claim a top-15 national time.
In the 200 medley relay, Mielniczuk’s 20.35 time on the freestyle anchor helped Emmanuel to a total time of 1:33.60, which is currently 17
th in the NCAA Divison II national rankings. Mielniczuk’s time of 45.39 in the freestyle anchor of the 400 freestyle relay helped the Lions to a 3:09.42, which is also the 17
th-best time presently in the nation.
