Da Silva finished first in six events and collected six meet-record times at the Sewanee Invitational. He finished first in the 50 breaststroke (25.86), the 100 individual medley (52.99), the 100 breaststroke (55.62) and the 200 breaststroke (2:04.77).
Da Silva was also part of the 100 medley relay (46.60, splitting 11.21 on the breaststroke) and the 200 medley relay (1:33.60, splitting 25.80 on the breaststroke)-winning teams.
