A junior from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Matos won three individual events and one relay to help the Braves to a pair of wins over conference foes Salem and Chowan on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Matos won the 200 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley. She touched the wall in 2:01.41 in the freestyle, posted a time of 2:27.42 in the 200 breaststroke and finished the IM in 2:15.00. She also swam the opening leg of the 200 medley relay with a split of 28.39 as the team won the race in 1:52.13.
