A sophomore from Goldsboro, North Carolina, Smith-Fort’e registered his first collegiate win in the weight throw at the Mondo College Invitational. He won with a throw of 16.97 meters. Smith-Fort’e's 17.58m throw at the JDL Early Bird Invitational on Dec. 4 currently leads all in Conference Carolinas in the event.
