A junior from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Martinez earned weekly honors for the third time this season as she won three individual events, swam on a winning relay and hit an NCAA B standard qualifying time in a tri-meet with No. 40 Lenoir-Rhyne and Roanoke.
Martinez produced an NCAA B Standard qualifying time in the 50 freestyle, while also breaking her own school record in that event with a time of 23.62. She also won the 100 freestyle (52.72), 100 butterfly (58.17) and swam a leg on the 200 freestyle relay which won the event in 1:38.57.
