A sophomore forward/center from Sanford, Florida, Pierce averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and two assists per game in two games last week for Francis Marion. He blocked a shot in each game. In Francis Marion’s thrilling conference road win over Chowan on Feb. 1, Pierce had a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards. Pierce leads all in Conference Carolinas games with 10.4 rebounds per contest. He is in the top-10 in the conference in points per game at 15.7 per outing. Pierce is in the top-5 in the conference in blocked shots per game at 1.4.
