A graduate student from Hilliard, Ohio, Gilbert was fantastic in two impressive wins over Barton and Mount Olive for North Greenville. The outside hitter first posted 14 kills, three blocks, two aces and two digs in a win over Barton. He followed that up with 20 kills, five digs, three blocks and three aces in the win over Mount Olive.
